Practical details
My consulting rooms are in a quiet location just north of Summertown. There is ample free two-hour parking and I am within easy walking distance of a frequent bus service in and out of the centre of Oxford .
I generally suggest meeting for an initial session during which you can meet with me, get an idea of what it feels like to be in a counselling relationship, and decide whether you feel that we would be able to work together.
If you should decide to go ahead, we would then think about whether you would like to meet for a limited number of sessions, or in an open-ended way. Sessions thereafter last for 50-80 minutes each and once we have identified a time that suits you, that session time will be exclusively reserved for you until such time as we agree to finish our work together.
I currently charge £38 per 50 minute session. Some concessions may be negotiable depending on circumstances.
I will also mention that I often have my spaniel with me in the consulting room, so this may be a problem if you are allergic to dogs.
